Hi, is the maximum years you can play in this game 30? Because I really don’t want to get into the game and get cut off once I get to year 30 and do it all over again.
The maximum time the game runs story and eventwise is 30 years. You can shorten and lengthen this by 5 years for a short and long game in the options for a new game.
After that time there will be no new consoles and/or other events.
There are players who have reached year 200 some time ago.
Only bad thing is after year ~ 40 there is also a balancing ‘problem’. As of now it is possible to sell 8 Million own Consoles and 200 Million MMO Games for this console …
There are 3 options you can choose at the beginning of the game. (Click the cog when naming your company) 25, 30 and 35 years.
That settings governs when certain platforms enter and leave the market, as well as some other elements, that are depending on time (certain research items for example).
Once the time is up, your final score is calculated.
But even after the final score is calculated you can continue to play. The platforms won’t change anymore but playing is possible.
