Hello, I’ve been trying to download the Mac version of the Game Dev Tycoon Demo and have tried downloading it thrice now each time it never fully downloads. I’ve tried different ways to initiate the download to work around the problem but nothing seems to work. Each time I open the file it my Mac has a prompt that says, “Could not load disk image” then it lists the Demo with "not recognized " next to it.
The download seems to stop at 12 MB downloaded.
The Mac Demo has around 60MB so the download definitely doesn’t finish. Can you try a different browser? Is there any kind of error message when the download stops?
As soon as I posted the topic I started downloading it on Firefox. Still downloading, I’ll reply back when I know the results.
And for the error message, no, nothing appears.
Ok, so I tried Firefox and then Chrome. It seemed to download only on Chrome. At least it downloaded. 
we haven’t seen this before and would like to investigate further. Could you tell us what OS version and browser version you tested with?
For the first download I was using Safari which is currently updated to the current version. Then I tried Mozilla Firefox which is also updated to the current version. Lastly, I used Google Chrome, which worked.
My OS versions are Mac. My Macbook Pro is a late 2011 model updated to 10.7.5
