I know this isn’t just me, it happens to all my mates aswell. Ever since I bought the game, it takes forever to load up around 4-5 minutes before the start screen comes up… why? Can you fix this?
It has trouble opening up after you turn the computer on. Sometimes it may stop if you have internet open.
It takes longer on my wife’s computer than it does on mine, despite our two computers having similar levels of power. However for us it is more like 5 seconds vs 20 seconds. You may want to post your system info for the devs (specs, OS etc) to see if they can help you with this, a 5 minute startup time is crazy.
This is simply because the whole game’s data from the executable needs to be copied over to %temp% folder. The slower and crappier your hard drive is, the longer the game will take to load. I still don’t know why authors couldn’t separate the data files from the executable, but they probably have their reasons.
