I just installed and started the game on Debian Linux and I’m not getting any sound effects or music. Its not the same bug as the “No sound with Linux” thread since I do have the alsa plugins in the location mentioned in that thread, and I don’t use pulseaudio. I checked with ldd and it finds all 32-bit libraries that it links against so its not a missing library either.
There is nothing related to sound in the output of the terminal I ran the game from. Sound works fine in other programs, both 32-bit and 64-bit ones. Not really sure what other info to provide, please let me know what else you need to know.
