KizzaGaming is on Stupid Peasant Quotes!

Ah, a classic

also, using a pc keyboard has around 100+ buttons, while a controller has around 17 buttons (including joysticks). so, what were you saying about PC and consoles having the same amount of complexity

But do you have to use all those buttons? No, just because an elevator has 100 buttons, doesn’t mean you have to push each one.

You only have to use a few keys on every basic game. (WASD, Spacebar, scroll wheel, and mouse movement)

But other games like ArmA, uses more than the basic keys, which is why you’ll never see the full version of ArmA on consoles.

overall it is still more complicated on a pc and more relaxed on a console.

Eh, I still have to disagree.

Edit: uhhh, delete it by accident…re added it lol.

no, it is more relaxed on a console. it is. it is, it is much more simple on a console. it is. that is all i will say.

That’s more opinion based, you haven’t given any facts, or any reason for me, or any others to believe it is more relaxed.

@Killertoad

Console gaming is more relaxed… There’s really no set up for graphics, or any weird hiccups because the game was optimized for one set of chips instead of the chips in your pc.
No mess with constantly changing drivers either.
Also, a bit hard to use a keyboard and mouse while sitting back on a couch.
With the new consoles, streaming is easier, and OBS is a POS, IMO to set up and all if you use it for both streaming and recording.

Not saying PC gaming is bad, I enjoy it a lot! But I do miss the comfort of a couch and the more plug-n-play style with little fiddling around with settings.

Good points. It used to not be as bad, for optimization for each card, and such. It used to be who was better than the other. But now it’s all about money anymore, they pay one company a little, to make it run better on their cards. Same with consoles, except for exclusives.

Drivers don’t tend to be an issue anymore, not with all the new stuff coming out, it pretty much does everything with you. (Years ago, it wasn’t “hard” it was just more steps)

And yeah, I could see that. But for my type of gaming, I don’t like to be sitting back in a couch, but that’s my opinion, others may vary.

And oh yeah, god yeah you’re right about that. I’ve heard good/bad things about OBS, but I’ve got other programs, so I haven’t had a reason to touch it, yet. (Also, with the new Game DVR out on AMD, you can stream straight some it, without taking a hit in performance, dunno if it’s on shadowplay yet though).

But good points. I do see why some people like it, but it seems like the most used games on console, tend to be better suited for PC gaming anyways. I guess Wii(u) is the best for just casual gaming.

At the end of the day it does rely more on preferece and I personally could play with both controller and keyboard for most games aside from first person shooters and tycoons.

I really should look into that shadowplay and the amd one. OBS seems to work well once the settings are in order but until then, it’s very stubborn. Also seems to depend on how strong your rig is. Since as you know mine is sub-par, it took me a while to get the settings down.

i say consoles=pc overall just leave it consoles will never die out

Consoles will die out soon :stuck_out_tongue: I’m pretty sure that because of the increased cost and Microsoft going bankrupt, it wont wait. Sony cant possibly hold the entire console market themselves.

no! stop it pc=console wtf does it even matter

welp, that’s how world war III started, kids.

why so mean to console players man!

The developers are the issue, not the players, because of console PC is getting piss easy games, games that can be played blindly, and entire features are getting removed because of console

For example, the ballistic shield was recently added into BF4, at first DICE wanted the shield in your right hand while holding your pistol in your second hand, but because of the PS3 and Xbox 360 they had to scrap that idea

that would be cool but also OP

It wouldn’t :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it would work quite well, for example your gunna have a huge shield blocking most of your FOV, so you won’t be as accurate. And your still prone to grenades :stuck_out_tongue:

XBOX MASTERACE!
Huh, huh, this make anyone mad?
No, I am kidding. I like PC gaming way better than console but, I still love consoles so to tell you the truth, I do not care what I play on. I play on my phone a lot. I am in my phone so much that I am on my phone as I post this.

Try amd’s Game DVR, got shipped out in the last Gaming Evolve update. It’s really nice, didn’t notice a single frame drop on a i5-4440 and a 270x. (In minecraft, when recording with shaders, it went up a frame).

@azertyman Consoles will never be like PC’s, and consoles will die out. Look at them now, they already are.

And the riot shield is not OP? You can shoot the glass out of the top and headshot someone, it just protects you really from crowded hallways.
