How could anyone be angry enough to actually go and do something to another person just because they have a different opinion about a video game?
Perhaps some fans take things a bit to serious

Pretty different, but there are indeed mechanics the same, but a lot of new ones too. So not true.
There are more mechnics added like sliders and engine features. Actual better graphics, if you like them or not, they are better. Charm is what you think. Not true.
Better game is your opinion. You will have to try both out to say GDS is better, not just play GDS and see it, they don’t have anything to compare it with then… duh. After you did that, you can decide what’s better for you. By the way, it’s GREENHEART GAMES ;P. So not true.
If you ever read what they said on their site, it’s inspired and therefore very different. Many people know it’s inspired and you would if you read anything instead of watching youtube videos. It’s not Kairosoft’s idea because there are many other Game Dev Tycoon/Game Dev Story-ish games out there. Take a look at Game Tycoon which is released before Game Dev Story. Blatant rip-off! Duh… So not true.

I have said it before somewhere, that making a game that is entirely new is very unlikely.
Apart from a few similarities, GDT is a lot more mature.
Bases on the graphics of GDS i simply would not play it.
I played Game Dev Storry quite a lot and it’s very addicting. For me Game Dev Tycoon was a replacement though. Keep in mind Game Dev Story was for mobile devices and therefore couldn’t achieve the graphics Game Dev Tycoon has. Game Dev Story was also meant to be a bit retro style. 
There is nothing new under the sun 
So I guess according to this person CoD is a rip off of Battlefield cause it’s the same style of game? Get out of here!

At the very least, Game Dev Tycoon could be viewed as a little competition to Game Dev Story. Apparently the reviewer thinks no such thing should exist.

i think that reviewer kept getting bankrupt and thought the game was to hard. he was obviously a sore loser therefore in his eyes : the games shit
Games always suck when you’re losing and when people are winning they usually say, it’s too easy.

Its a shame that he actually said about the graphics being bad … For one its a tycoon game i mean who cares about graphics This brings me to my next point that who ever wrote this review quite clearly a call of duty console fanboy.

Wasn’t game dev story released in 1997?
Yes, GDT Is similar to GDS. Similar time system, Similar GUI. But GDT improved so much over Kariosofts GDS that GDT fells so much different.
