Ok, so some delusional person reviewing game dev tycoon said it was WORST then game dev story with WORST graphics
here is the review
A blatant ripoff of Kairosoft’s Game Dev Story. Nothing is original, and it’s actually a worse game with worse graphics and no charm. Go and play Game Dev Story, which was released 3 years before Greenheart Game’s ripoff, and see for yourself, and enjoy a better game. It’s disgusting that people don’t know that this is a ripoff and praise it and pay for it when it is Kairosoft’s ideas.
He definitely didn’t play the game. There are very much different and original mechanics suchs like the sliders or the engines. However, I will not go very deep into this because everybody who believes him is not even worth to be talking to.
Don’t take reviews personally, different people have different reviews than you. I’ve played GDS demo version, they are very similar in concept, graphics and many other things are different. Anyway, this person is either a fanboy of GDS and idolises it as a god-like game, a troll who is trying to encourage anger, or even another reason for this opinion. But, don’t take them personally.
ok, I had to remove a whole sentence of unnecessary aggressive and abusive language here. Don’t get me wrong, we hate the ‘this is a rip-off’ slants as much as you do and we appreciate when fans downvote such reviews and provide a more balanced point of view but whatever someone says on the internet, there can never be a justification to make death threats even when they are presented under the banner of I’m just mad right now and joking.
Pretty different, but there are indeed mechanics the same, but a lot of new ones too. So not true.
There are more mechnics added like sliders and engine features. Actual better graphics, if you like them or not, they are better. Charm is what you think. Not true.
Better game is your opinion. You will have to try both out to say GDS is better, not just play GDS and see it, they don’t have anything to compare it with then… duh. After you did that, you can decide what’s better for you. By the way, it’s GREENHEART GAMES ;P. So not true.
If you ever read what they said on their site, it’s inspired and therefore very different. Many people know it’s inspired and you would if you read anything instead of watching youtube videos. It’s not Kairosoft’s idea because there are many other Game Dev Tycoon/Game Dev Story-ish games out there. Take a look at Game Tycoon which is released before Game Dev Story. Blatant rip-off! Duh… So not true.
I played Game Dev Storry quite a lot and it’s very addicting. For me Game Dev Tycoon was a replacement though. Keep in mind Game Dev Story was for mobile devices and therefore couldn’t achieve the graphics Game Dev Tycoon has. Game Dev Story was also meant to be a bit retro style.
At the very least, Game Dev Tycoon could be viewed as a little competition to Game Dev Story. Apparently the reviewer thinks no such thing should exist.
I bet he screams every time he sees a McDonald’s next to a Burger King. >_>
Its a shame that he actually said about the graphics being bad … For one its a tycoon game i mean who cares about graphics This brings me to my next point that who ever wrote this review quite clearly a call of duty console fanboy.
