Is The Full Game Direct Downloading, I Don't Have Steam!?

Hi there I was thinking about buying Game Dev Tycoon, I play on my laptop - Its good but its not a gaming laptop, the only other games I run of it are FTL and I used to play Minecraft. For this reason I don’t have steam on this laptop, or on the main family PC (What A bit slow),
I’ve checked that my laptop can run it and also have played the free demo - what I really enjoyed BUT it seems like to play this game I have to have steam. Is this correct. I know the demo is direct download is the full game, direct download. Really need someones help.
Sorry if my question has all ready be answered some where else.

Nope.
You don’t need steam.
When You buy it, You get destkop version and Steam key.

No Problem.

You can of course buy Only Steam key.
It’s a bit cheaper, but I prefer normal destkop version.
