No? It’s a thread? He could of been talking to anyone? He could of been talking to dayron, because he didn’t scroll down all the way yet, and commented on the first thing he didn’t like. As long as you guys have been on this forum, I’d think you guys would know that.
We’ve been long on the forum yes. That’s why we knew it was obvious that he meant the post above him.
Remember to stay on topic.
Also ‘Mean-ness’ is a subjective and culturally biased concept.
If @Stian was mean I would formally warn him. He is simply opinionated just like @killertoad and many other forumites here.
Remember that if you do not agree with someone elses opinions you can simply not reply. This is standard forum behaviour. Bickering and flamebaiting will get You Banned. Not the person who’s opinions you do not agree with. This is how all forums work.
Everyone they originally intended the next Windows to be called Windows 9 however Windows 10 was chosen because the Windows 9 is rumored to be a big update for Windows 8/8.1 users that will be free for them, I just guess that they like to see clean numbers for their products because how is the average user going to know the difference between Windows 8 and 8.1.
You know what? If win 10 will look like 8, i think i will stay with my loved 7 (or switch to 8.1), but if it will be similar (in design) to 7, i will buy it month after release (so they fix very common “first release bugs”).
Hmm there’s a lot of windows versions. Except for win NT I’ve used them. I’m not counting win 1.01 and win 2 as they were so early in the computer industry hardly anyone even knew about them and I think of them as more of a alpha/beta for win 3.1 and win 3.2 was for china only.
win 3.1 (1), win 95 (2), win NT(3). win 98 (4), Win Me (5). win 2000 (6), win xp (7), win vista (8 was the worst of them all), win 7 (9). win 8 (10),
So win 10 should really be win 11?? Microsoft can’t count and no wonder why it’s got so many bugs lol.
@subzero22 Vista wasn’t that bad after SP2 was released.
Although XP is still the best version of Windows to date
Windows 95 - The grandfather
Windows XP - The father
Windows Vista - The unsuccessful naughty son - RIP
Windows 7 - The better son - The son
Windows 8 - The first daughter - The clean daughter
Someone please say something about Windows 10
Windows 10 - The spoiled brat
Windows 10 - The unwanted child
um… i want win 10… maybe…
So I guess win 3.1 would be the great grandfather?
