You do have a choice, if you don’t like it, then don’t use it. Plus it’s not entirely personal. Just stuff about your general habits and your hardware, so they can better update their OS. (And don’t say you don’t want them watching your habits, everything on your computer does that.)

Then don’t use it?..

Spyware isn’t always bad. It’s labeled as bad, but it’s not always bad. The programs that they put on your school computers, so you don’t go to places, and so they can track what you do? That’s spyware. Google ads? That’s spyware. “What you may like” on steam? Spyware
