How to add overlays to a video?

Video editors (Adobe After Effects, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Movavi etc) let you add pictures to videos.

Thanks for this information. I use Movavi video editor to add pictures and do simple editing - https://www.movavi.com/. Very easy to use.
