There is this random event, sabotage thing, does it helps? how?
Hint : any event that would make you be the bad guy is evil, any event that would make you be the good guy is good.
And no, I don’t feel like I’m Captain Obvious
Does it help? Yes. It helps make… your funds go down as you don’t have an opponent company.
If it’s sabotage don’t do it, but for research things i like to do it because well… i have the money and it’s useful to get topics way down the list
According to the wiki, accepting adds +1 evil and rejecting adds +1 good. There is no other listed effect, and no explanation for what good and evil do.
Accumulating evil points I believe affects the amount of fans you get per game sale, as well as affecting whether you have your credit card stolen later on or not (which takes about 1/14 of your total cash, IIRC). I assume good points gives you more fans per sale, but that is pure speculation. The credit card stolen event however, is 100% caused by evil points.
Hm. If good points give more fans per sale, then it’s worth rejecting all of these events, even the research ones.
As I said before, that’s pure speculation on my part, and not easily tested unless you happen to dig further in the game’s code than I care to (which is not at all).
