I have a Linux operating system, and this is probably a little different than everybody else.
If I was to update my game, what would be the process to do that? I heard that you have to check my email for the download link, but wouldn’t it be the same game? Would I get a new e-mail? Someone please answer this. I am really confused.
When you click on the link in your mail, you’ll get the latest version of the game.
But how? Does it self-update?

You can reuse the email for downloading a updated version of the game, so always keep that email somewhere save.
The other posters are correct, you click on the same, original link you used to download the game initially. This automatically downloads the most recent game version.
