Beat the game 8 times before mod support was even implemented. Longest I’ve played one file is year 80-something (87, I think?)

I beat the game about 13 times before modding was a thing, longest record was 150 years.

I have no life.

@Akamadoushi and @WaveJones you played before mod support too like me that so that qualifies you for the use of- Back IN My Day - :wink:

Here look I’ll give it a try

Back IN My Day we didn’t have Cheat Mod or your Fancy dancy mods we had to beat the game 10 times before editing the save file with sqlite browser if we wanted to be a trillionaire.

we have to edit the save file to get millions of cash, or just be a badass in the game itself.

I don’t exactly remember, and I lost my hard-drive due to hard drive failure (still need to fix that sometime) and I can remember getting over year 100. I beat the game, that was for sure. Never did get the Virsorius.

Probably about 30 years. My longest in general is no more than 60 years, though.
Usually I get stuck (not bankrupt yet, but just that things aren’t gong my way) or bored and start a new company. I’ve never completely beat the game.

i waited for modding for so long… i beat the game and continued to year 85 on my very first save…

Ive never beaten the game. I have more success working out of my garage. Ive never gotten past the office level. I had over $140 million in my garage but i keep going bankrupt at the second level office lol. My games all seem to do much much better as well. Any advice?

Im hiring people with near my stat levels, but they never seem to contribute as much as my little dude does. Any thoughts?

At the second level office, i have never sold more than 200k copies for any game i made. At the garage level I sell games at 500k+ copies for almost every one of them.

So im stuck lol.

hi! i past the game twice. And i learnt that in the 2nd level you have to hire 1 good employee and make Small games with him. if you have good publishing offers, use them. You need more than 100k Fans to self-publish medium games. Those aare a few tips. Experiment with that.

You guys are cute and all, but try year 174, an easy 4 billion with a few 10.25 scores, all before mods and no file editing. I played about 16 games before modding came, most before Steam integration. Then I updated (admittedly a few months after the Steam Version was released) and got a few mods, I followed Camelot Expansion from the beggining. I had about 50 plus hours on the none Steam version, and 77 hours on the Steam version. I definitely have no life XD

@Karneron

You should do the publisher contracts. You don’t earn as much but you get more fans.

Once you reach the fans threshold (you’ll get a pop-up), you should be able to get back to big numbers.

Don’t forget to update your engines!
