I have GTX 660 and 1280x1024 monitor, how GTX 660 will be work in 1920x1080 in new games? Buying 1920x1080 monitor is good idea for me?
mh, I have 2x660 OC in SLI, and newer games usually run around ~60 fps with SLI, even when it’s disabled. I have a 1920x1080 monitor.
So, its good idea?
Well, it depends what monitor you get and such.
You could always change the games resolution so it doesn’t lag bad, I got a 1680x1050 but I change games to 720p and stuff. But I run GDT on Native res.
So, same question buying 1920x1080 monitor is good idea for me?))
If you got the money ;D I hear 120 hz is great, so maybe invest some into that? Idk. I got 60 hz, so I can’t say anything on the subject. But I’d say yes to the 1080p The extra 700 pixels you’ll see.
1920x1080 60-85hz IPS LED or above is the best. They’re cheap and you can use some pixel oc tool to make it reach around a visible 70 fps.
LG 23MP55HQ is good for gaming and other?
A 660 will do 1080p fine. Although, not the best, looking at about 30-40 FPS on most games.
I dont looking for Ultra settings, graphics is not main in games for me, so buying monitor is good idea?
Probably.
Probably yes?)
1080p will be fine for all games.
Yes get the monitor, and you’ll play the games on ultra, at 30-40 frames, but to me, 30 isn’t the most playable (on FPS’s anyways)
But yeah, get the monitor. What are your other specs btw?
i5 3470, 12gb RAM.
Oh yeah, no problem running 1080p.
Thanks.
Do you know monitor LG 23MP55HQ is good for gaming?
Looks good to me, although you can get them cheaper without IPS.
Wait, found a cheaper one, with IPS, and 5ms response time. (23")
