The game is NOT locked down. We still have .rpf files that the game is enclosed in, and as soon as someone reverse engineers the game’s executable we’ll have the “key” to open these files and do what we want.
I think it’s called ‘illegal’ when you hack the files, so as to make what you want. The final step of this is simply stealiing them/syaing that they are yours/sell them without telling the author. If you give credit I think it’s fine. Unless the author has a policy to modding.
Dont listen to that guy, he has a personall vendetta against Rockstar. GTA V is infact moddable and there already has been a simple native trainer and scripthook made for it.
