But I get this weird graphics issue, where none of the elements line up correctly. Image here
I’m on a 15" MBPr, running OSX 10.8.3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024Mb Gfx card.
Let me know if I’m doing something stupid.
I think I’ve seen similar things on twitter. I will have to test this but I had someone test on 10.8 successfully 
I have the same issue, very disappointed. Hope there’s an update soon, the game is unplayable on the Retina MBP.
As a workaround - find the game in the Applications folder, tap Cmd+I (or right-click and Get Info), then check “Open in Low Resolution”. That’ll fix it until proper support is added.
ah, thanks for reporting that this might be a retina display issue. sorry, we didn’t have many testers on Mac.

The solution posted by supernes worked perfectly for me.
Confirmed on a 15" Macbook Retina. Opening in Low Resolution resolves the issue, although the low resolution is clearly visible.
