hello everybody today i suggest a realist suggestion .
you see in the game all your topic are good mmo but many topic like law or school are very bad mmo.
so i suggest there is a new criterion for mmo games : mmo/topic
it’s like topic/genre .
exemple : fantasy and mmo is a great combinaison so there are +++ .
law and mmo is a terible combinaison so there are - - - .
so my suggestion it’s realist because single player games like game dev tycoon are bad in mmo in the real life and multiplayer games are great mmo in real life .
it’s for more challenge to do good mmo .
I cannot really see your point here, as you said fantasy & mmo is a good example of a good combination but law & mmo do not relate so it does not make any sense to do a law mmo… or at least have you ever heard of a law mmo game in real life because I’ve never heard of one if so enlighten me please.
Massively-Multiplayer Gaming is a broader field than you think. I’d classify Neopets as an MMO. If I were building it in Game Dev Tycoon, I’d build it as Virtual Pet/Young/Casual/MMO. (I’m not linking to Neopets.) Flight Rising is another one, but it’s targeting an Everyone rating instead. These are good examples of MMO games that are not MMORPGs.
There are even text-adventure MMOs in the real world. Want an example? Try Fallen London. A Law/Adventure MMO should work quite finely with similar mechanics as to what Fallen London uses. Given that the Failbetter crew actually licenses their engine to other developers, one may already exist.
