Just thought I’d mention a new site called godotbuilds.tk for those of you interested in using the Godot game engine These builds have a brand new UI which looks a lot better than the previous and also get updated often enough to stay on-track with the latest features.
With open-source you know what the code does. As example, Unity 3D sends over 6 megabytes of personal information/computer analytics in an exported build which just ticks me off. So I normally just block Unity games from accessing network, unless it’s a multiplayer game.
What exactly is your point? I struggle to see that. If you don’t like being able to fork your favorite project, thats fine. And by the way, Valve’s Steam OS is open-source.
