why ?
Well…
If you want viewers your mic and quality needs to be good
this means that if you have a really bad microphone your viewers would probably not stay (a.k.a subscribe)
and if you don’t have the correct program to record with and many free is either bad quality, can’t record games properly and the sound might be bad or there would be limitations on that.
and editing does also cost money if you are going to edit your videos. But you could ofcourse go cheaper and use windows movie maker if you are going to just clip and cut.
And if you are going to play a simulation game often it would be a good idea to have something to use to the game (euro truck simulator, fly simulator often does support good keyboard controls but not necessary)
and games, you might want new games instead of older games which are all around youtube already.
And when young “youtubers” realize how much work is needed to do this they give up. But it doesn’t mean you would, I am only saying this because it might make you thinking.
I got friends who bought a pro mic, but yet they stopped making videos. If you are going to start youtube channel then it needs to be because you know you would never stop doing it.
So at the end it can get VERY expensive to make videos. But if you are going to start a youtube channel anyway I’d like to wish you good luck

A good mic is indeed a must…but I have a singing mic (very good quality) laying around here…and a headphone mic
It is tough but the main element is a good computer which is what I’m missing…
I have a decent sounding mic that I hope will be decent enough for my needs in the meantime.

Yeah…I have a game pc…2gb videocard and 8gb ram…so thats not a problem
