Hai I’m Gizmo I have a few ideas for the game.
Here is my my list.
No.1
DLC Everyone likes making sequels but, what if you worry of the sequel not being as good? Well, I have a idea! How about downloadable content which will make a games last longer!
No.2
System requirements.
Everyone loves playing those epic games but, with amazing graphics there is a price?
The higher the requirements the less it would sell unless obviously consoles would run it.
No.3
Pc development
Continuing from my specs thing.
People can now make pcs with higher prices better specs and so on!
Make a battlefield pc
No.4
Hire more staff
In all honesty 7 people working on battlefield 4 inst going to be a key to success and dice would be out of business in no time so why not have the ability to hire several levels or even an entier building of developers !
No.5
More topics!!
We need more topics!!!
Maybe a zombie apocalypse mmo like dayz?
Anyways moar topic!!!11!!!1!11 (<-- 100% On purpose)
Who would set up the rules whether DLC is successful or not?
Fact is that most gamers feel nickel and dimed by DLC, because they’ll almost never have what they consider to be ‘A full game’.
No DLC for at least a year.
DLC cannot contain ‘cut content’ or alter game mechanics that should have been in the game to begin with coughreaperofsoulscough
DLC exceeding two real expansions that add NEW content is really just a cash machine.
While it may generate a minor income, it will result in loss of fans unless it’s really cheap or meets the gamer communitys standards for what’s considered appropriate.
Pretty much the same goes for sequels exceeding two, unless they bring something new and fresh to the franchise.
System requirements…well that would require totally rewriting the core mechanics of the game.
Even though it’s relevant for a sim like GDT, it would also add a whole new level of complexity to how the game is played.
PC/Hardware development.
I’m a little torn on the whole ‘we’re a software company, but we also make hardware’ thing.
I’m not sure how to feel about the fact that GDT branches into making consoles to begin with.
The more stuff you add, the more it becomes a business simulator rather than a Game Dev simulator, and the whole Game Dev idea is what got me interested in the first place.
