hi

i wanna change my name because azertyman is kinda weird

but when i try it it says it will delete my posts and comments?? i dont want that to happen
so could someone say if its safe to change your name (on these forums) without anything getting deleted?

If it says it will delete everything it will delete everything I guess you’re gonna have to make a new account if you don’t want the forum to delete everything.

Hey,

You can change your name. It wont delete your posts or comments. The message says;

If you change your username, all prior quotes of your posts and @name mentions will be broken. Are you absolutely sure you want to?

This means any @azertyman mentions wont flag for you anymore.

Thanks, but where is the button to change your name again?
I think I did it wrong the first time i tried i can’t find the button anymore,
but it doesn’t matter to much everyone likes my name so I’ll keep it I think
