GDT's dark secret

I was looking through my Nvidia settings to use some filters for skyrim, and then I found this.

“Russian Roulette: nw.exe”

Greenheart, what is your response? Is this in reality a Russian Roulette client? :open_mouth:

uPlay? You horrible person!

It was apparently required for AC: 4, so…

I’m more shocked at the fact that I can see Internet Explorer in the list.

I found this too when I was trying to fix my nVidia card (still won’t work).
Weird…

I guess because WebGL… Anyone? No? I actually hate Internet Explorer.

I assume that Nvidia simply maps .exe name to game ans since we reverted to nw.exe, instead of GameDevTycoon.exe I assume that there was already a nw.exe in their database :frowning:

Apparently Warface’s .exe also is called nw.exe ^^
nVidia GeForce Experience just listed that game as recognized on my PC and I was quite surprised. Noticed the path the exe was found in and saw it was GDT. Not really a problem but maybe renaming your executable to gdt.exe would be a good idea ;D
