Does anyone else think a mobile version of Game Dev Tycoon would be fun? I know there is a mod version, but an official one, I would pay full price of the PC version for it.
javascript/HTML5 is compatible with android and IOS (I think, someone correct me if I’m wrong) so GHG could probably “port it over” very easily
Game Dev Story, which is the game that influenced Game Dev Tycoon already exists on mobile devices. It’s not as in-depth as GDT, but it has a lot of charm to it and it’s simplicity probably helps in a mobile setting. It does some things better than GDT (I much prefer it’s staff system and it’s E3 system is more interesting even if it is mostly a facade), and GDT does some things better than it does (different size games/publishers/etc. are absent in GDS).

I would be really surprised. If anyone sees that please let us know as this goes against our modding agreement. Re-publishing the game is (for obvious reasons) forbidden.
