When you create a video game before it release you can upload a picture to find your game match to the picture. Would be very cool to add image for your game.
Do you really want to create image for ALL YO GAMEZ?
Some people do want that. If they want they can, if you don’t want it you don’t have to. 
maybe have a image pool which is a pool of images that you just choose from those images in that pool for your games picture.
