Gameplay Feedback

Nice game. Haven’t ‘finished’ it yet, but got some feedback for it.
But need some improvements.

  • Major Issues.
1)Add “Multiplatform” as an option in “Game Platforms”. Also add limitations for genres: Let say player could researched first, and then use it on certain games (per say RTSs would be multiplatform or fighting).
2)Add “re-release” of highest scored games, as an option(again, played will have to research it)
3)Add alternate, or just random, events(like popular genres or features in the games)
4)Add some alternative options for marketing, like “paid reviews”.
5)Alternate “Ninvendo” to something on “T-”, ‘cause in case of “TES” console it would make much more sense.
6)Add more detailed info for money, scores and in-game industry overall.
7)Add randomizer for games’ and company’s names.
8)Add option to “review\revise” game - on the screen of “completion” of game.
    9)Add more genres and topics.
  • Minors
    1)Add some customization for garage\office
2)Add more random scores for publications- they’re too predictable.
3)Add something like “meta-score”, or exp\money bonus for high scores.
4)Also option for selecting two, or more, researches would be great(also time for two or more research should be a bit than just for one research)
5)Add limit for sequels above 7\7.5 - less should be sequelized.
6)Add message’s history, with tabs for industry news and games.
8)Add a proportions in options for genres, as well as “major platform” for development.

P.S. I’ll buy another copy, if your game would make put on Vita(would be awesome on handheld and with trophies XD)

You can use Expansion Pack, for PS Vita

I like your ideas sir.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas!

Yeah, like your comment is really funny, :green_heart: .

It would be neet on Vita - cause portability for this game would be awesome, don’t you thonk?

Oh you are talking about the base game itself my fault. I do not think that Sony is that indie friendly though they have all ready said they are not going to remake the game for mobile mainly because it would take remaking the whole game from scratch. Maybe the next Game Dev Tycoon I think they are going a different direction for right now but maybe with them hiring people that may change.

But this is the only hint we have about there next game “We are working on some unique concepts, one we are particularly fond of has a darker theme where we hope to combine interactive story-telling with a deep strategy and simulation game.”

This is what they say for Game Dev Tycoon 2 “If you are super keen on working on Game Dev Tycoon 2 then this is what you will do but GDT 2 is not our main focus at the moment.”

So maybe they are saving all these ideas for the sequels.

That is really all we have for info at this point.

Look, smarty.
First of all, that’s just a feedback topic, so you could go, and do you_know_why. Secondly, I - and i’m sure a lot of folks out there - would prefer to play this game on the handheld(s), instead of Desktop… Third, both platform holders aren’t that evil, and that’s not THAT hard to get your game out on those platform. No one asking devs to jump over the moon for that.

Calm down my post was not hostile at all for one it would not work the Devs are from Europe and Australia and this is from Sony’s site “You must be physically located in US, Mexico, Central America, South America, or Canada” to become a developer for Sony platforms and if you are not from these regions you must fill out this https://www.companyregistration.playstation.com/SCEInternetApplications/AreaNewLicensee/MainSystem/CFModules/NewLicensee/snl_master_template.cfm?v_which_region=scee&v_which_form=GAME

Then you have to pay license fees to get onto the store it would just be a giant pain.

You can read more here about the game: You know what forget I am going to copy and paste the text "October 2011
– We begin developing a concept for a round-based game development simulation planned for the iPhone.
December 2011
– We change plans and re-target the game to be a real-time isometric simulation for the upcoming Windows Store."

All this info can be found here: http://www.greenheartgames.com/about/ The closest thing to mobile for this game is Game Dev Story by Kariosoft.
