Hi,
I like the game and have a question.
I was under the impression from the wiki pages that the Gameling platform was a good fit with young audiences. I get the following message when i develop a game with this combination, i think it’s 'sales are falling short, it seems your platform does not fit well with you current target audience’
Did the patches change these values in the game?
Thanks for clearing this.

Well gameling does favor the youngster, but if you combined with a wrong genre ( sim, strategy, adventure or casual )
And possibly a bad youngster topic.
Possible that you went with “Everyone” instead of “Young”?
So if you would make a fantasy/rpg on the gameling for a young audience, you should not get that message.
There have been no changes within the game.
Topic/genre combination is crucial if you want to succeed with the Gameling.
I usually stay away from it. I just can’t wrap my mind around kids games.
If I try, I always feel that I’m making boring games.
The Gameling is a ‘young audience’ platform, so you have to develop games to fit it.
A game will not sell just because you mark it ‘young’, so pick your topic and genre carefully.
I’m pretty sure you can find a list of ‘good’ combinations somewhere.
Just be warned that it takes the fun out of experimenting, and the satisfaction out of discovering them yourself.
I did a sci-fi and fantasy RPG for the gameling and got the message, but not sure it was for both of the games.
I just did both Sci-Fi and Fantasy RPG’s on the gameling for young audiences and did not get the message.
I think you forgot to pick “Young” in pre-production.
Check your game history if indeed both are targeted for the young.
ok will check this soon.
