Xbox One got revealed today, so here’s my idea
Idea:
- Port Game Dev Tycoon to the Xbox One when it comes out later this year.
question rather is, would a node.js port run on that machine,?
the rest is just copying the data files.
we don’t know because we don’t know everything about the Xbox One.

Wouldn’t Game Dev Tycoon require a mouse to work properly? Or a touch-screen? Using Xbox SmartGlass, maybe… Kinect, no.

you can use controller to drag mouse though , just like playing Strategy game on XBOX/PS
Do you honestly think it’s worth to develop this game on any console? The game is fine on the PC, no need to spend a ton of money trying to develop on the new Xbox.
Pretty sure I have a modded xbox one in my closet somewhere collecting dust.
Xbox1 is a PC with integrated graphic from AMD. It even has Win8 on board (yay). So GDT is already ported.
My thought about nexgen: Its good that they anchor the game requirments for a couple of years, so when you buy a PC there is many games to play with same spec. 
They could just make it as and indie game for the mbox 360
I think most of us want the Xbox One ported into Game Dev Tycoon, if this game could keep up with all the new consoles that release, it would be an amazing game.
Also, wheres multi-platforming!

Wait for a couple of months then the dev will surely put it in. lol. Personally, I think this console will kill Microsoft a bit. It wont kill it completely but it they wont make any money out of it.
Naw, because with the backlash One is starting to generate, I wouldn’t see much revenue generation, not to mention XBLA is now one of the most assbackwards things to develop for.
That would be fucking hell.
Just make it for the PS4.

Seriously, I’d stay away from the XBox One. Read the article I wrote on the XBox One if you want to know why it’s so terrible, but as far as gaming goes, it’s something every gamer should stay away from.

Microsoft has stated that the X1 will NOT allow indie publishers to publish their games without signing with a publishing company. The PS4, however, WILL allow (and encourages) indie developers to release. So I think PS4 is a more natural console.
