On my main C: disk drive i have 69,7 GB left out of 290, and no, i have not tried to istall it on my C: drive, but i will now.

I would suggest reading through these troubleshooting articles which are provided by Steam. A stuck loading screen is a sign that some other software (often security based) is blocking the game.

Have you tried running your computer is safe mode and then check if the game runs?
Also have you checked that your graphic drivers are up to date? However I would say that this issue is nearly always caused by conflicting software.
I didnāt think I was going to be doing any gaming on my laptop when I bought it a couple years ago so I donāt even have the AMD/Nvidia, I only have the IntelĀ®. I will try some of the stuff you left for Chelan_AngelFire unless you have any other ideasā¦

To create a DX Diag report
- Click the Start button,
- Typing dxdiag in the search box and then pressing enter.
- The DirectX diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
- Click on, āSave all informationā.
Also is the screen pure white or does it have writing on it (a list of names)?
