I’ve got a problem in Game Dev Tycoon. I played an old version of the game untill today i think 1.3.2 or something like that. Now I`ve got the version 1.4.2 and my savegames are fine, too. But i dont get the third office. Im at 2.412,5M, have got 6 Members (all level9) and published many games. I dont know why i cant travel to the next office. Is it a bug or didnt i reach a all goals, yet?

6 members? Then you are already in last office isn’t it?
But how can i build a hardware lab? i read that u can add it to your office if your at the third office. But i cant build it, yet. Or i just dont know how to build it.

I’ve already got a technology specialist
To build a hardware lab you need at least 1 technology specialist. After you’ve done that, go to the R&D lab by dragging your mouse to the left or use the right arrow key. Click anywhere on the R&D lab and click on the button ‘Research’. Choose what you want to research, in this case Hardware. After you’ve researched Hardware in the R&D lab you’ll be asked to open an Hardware lab. Say yes. To get to your hadware lab drag your mouse to the right or use the left arrow key. Have fun!
I dont have a R&D lab. I already got 1 technology specialist, but he didnt ask me for building a R&D lab
You need 1 design specialist for opening an R&D lab before you can use your technology specialist for opening an hardware lab.
To unluck the R&D Lab you will need one Design Specialist.
Within the R&D Lab you can research Hardware to unluck the Hardware Lab.
You will need one Technology Specialist to run your Hardware Lab.
You need a design specialist to build an R&D lab. Then you can research “Hardware” in the R&D lab. Set the budget, then wait for a moment. After the research is done, because you already have a tech specialist, you will be asked to build a hardware lab.
