Game Dev Roleplay

Good news everyone! The servers for League of Gods on Fairplay are back up! It turns out somebody was sending a DDoS to the servers, and easily crashing them. This was tracked back to Electronic Mass Productions HQ, making it even more obvious that EMP had something to do with the death of Xhanada. Police have now arrested EMP owner Trippy Hawkdude, and he will be set on trial at court tomorrow. Finally! Fight 4 Life has been released for the Fairplay!
It has all the cool features of the PC version, plus cross-platform support with PC players! The game is no doubt going to be a big hit. And hey. What the hell happened to Ubisoft? Where’s the UMagine port?! AAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!

Last night Ubisoft released a patch and an update for Smoke, one of the biggest online game distributors. The patch includes many more achievements, game space and easier navigation. The update holds less chunkier graphics, fixing the problem of in-game lag, and also speeding up the download times. They have set up a ‘Free’ Zone, where everything free is, as well as ‘Pre-Release’. They plan to release a game for it.

Ubisoft had asked for permission to create a sequel to the critically acclaimed Skyrim. The makers Bethesda, have agreed for 5 games, as long as they get 15% of the share. Ubisoft has started creating Dreamlight. A multi-player game with factions, different types of currency, more weapons (which is hard to believe) , pets, mounts and a bigger storyline, building on the 700-hour gameplay.

The also plan to make a duplicate online, which is called The Elder Scrolls Online . This game has entered the phase of beta-testing, but will not go on to UConference, where Ubisoft thinks precious data might be stolen…

Blue Dragon has announced that they have reached 1 billion league of gods players, as well as 500 million dollars in profit. Two Light gods and three dark gods have been added, with the panda god going to be put on sale again for PC and Fairplay once the case of the ricin beans is solved. This was confirming a incident when someone found the panda character, with a untextured model in the pc version

Ubisoft releases a game for their co-company Velvet Corp. The game is called Team Fortress, and is based the medieval times. Rise through the ranks of the peasant in war to a Grand Duke or Duchess. This is not all about war, as opposed to the name, as the player can heal, build, create bombs, create traps and much, much, much, more.
There will be 10 factions, Healer, Warrior, SpellCaster, Builder, Creator, Hunter, Designer, Architect, General and finally the Scout. There will be varying attributes that each of these class hold, and there a two factions : King Reid of the North, and King Bleau of the South. At stores it will cost $50, although to try and get more customers to Smoke and UStore, they have lowered the price to $40.

(I call bull****, having a seventh of the worlds population play your game? Yeah…)

Today Velvet confirmed that they plan to enter the console market and their engineers are working on an early prototype of a console dubbed the Smoke Machine. The current specs are unknown but it seems that there will be multiple price based models. The console will have a special operating system based on the Smoke platform and will run games in a PC architecture.

Velvet have also released a game compilation called the Blue Box. It will include an episodic sequel to Half-Dead 2, Half-Dead 2 Episode 2. Gaben also exclaimed there would be 2 more episodic titles to be released at a later date. The box also contain TelePortal 2, a sequel to TelePortal, and Team Fortress, Ubisofts latest game, which they offered to be added to the compilation. Velvet also added a modern themed mode to the game, featuring weapons like rockets and guns rather than swords! It will be released for the PC and the FairPlay, but none of Ubisofts consoles have been announced as platforms yet, strangely enough as they have added one of their own games to it!
Each of the games in the Blue Box received great praise from critics.

Dreamlight has entered post-production phase, and the hype builds up as Sydney and Washington D.C both go on world tours advertising the game, leaving New York - The biggest game industry around the Eastern Side of America, to deal with everything else.

(Did I forget to say that this game has a lot of players in China, South Korea, Japan,Americas (north), and a lot of players in Brazil too)

Ubisoft Founder Cazran Patmore made a great speech on why they made the game Team Fortress for the Blue Box;

‘Well, you see it’s our co-company and sometimes you don’t wanna make something for yourself, you make it for someone else. Anyway we have 1 of the 3 games in there, so chill. We’ve got this under control, besides it was also released for the UStore. Cazran out’

Ubisoft’s mega-game Dreamlight has, after a vote, been changed to DreamCast. Anyway, more on the game: Ubisoft has added other features such as, UHear, USpeak, ULook and UMotion, an upgraded body motion detector.

Ubisoft has been overtaken by fans! 15 Million fans went to the grand Opening of the UPark, Ubisoft’s very own theme park, which has made 28 Million on it’s first day! 400 Million went onto UStore and Smoke to buy their latest game; the critically acclaimed DreamCast. ‘Game Changer’ as IGN, Game Central and Paper, Scissors, Boulder stated it with an astounding 12/10. UStore has crashed repeatedly with the massive number of buyers.

The whole Ubisoft team has been trying to keep up with the huge influx of customers, and have saved it from crashing at least 5 times.

Ubisoft has released two DLC’s for DreamCast.

DeathKnight

  • You are on a quest to defeat the dreaded DeathKnight, Cleanser of Life. He awakens every 300,000 years to cleanse all life forms. You have to stop him before he awakes.

Magick

  • An evil sorceress has taken the SouthLands for herself. You must regain both the Plinksi and the Flentine lands from this enchantress. This comes with new companions.

Recently, Ubisoft has released an incredible game under the name of DreamCast, which will be a sequel to the old game Skyrim. It is a smash hit, bringing in a never-before seen 12/10 from multiple popular review companies, which has caused sales of the Fairplay and its games to drop tremendously, but recently Samuel Kessler of Trick or Treaters Inc has announced something that will be, I quote, “A magnificent new console under the name of the Fairplay Advanced.” His hardware department says that it boasts an astounding 4320 bits, and will have the best new CPU from Intel. It will have 1 exabyte of storage space and 1 petabyte of RAM. The controller will be a major improvement over the previous controller, including 2 analog joysticks, and it removes those extra 2 buttons, making it the nice and simple 10 again. Thank gods. Sadly, this will remove the popularity of MMOBAs like League of Gods and DATA on the console. Samuel promises tons of great action games and RPGs, including a sequel to Morpheus, and a new game under the name of Frag TV. Frag TV is an officially licensed sequel to the old Acclaim game, Smash TV. It will keep the top-down style, but have it so that the scenes are much more realistic, as if the game is showing you a TV show. The game will feature soundtracks from bands such as Sex Pistols 2.0, Wiked Lizerds, and Hairslay. The Morpheus sequel will be a very different kind of game, where instead of RPG/Strategy battles, it is a game of subtlety now. Attacks will be sent through real e-mails on the console’s messaging system, which will look like any other message from a pissed-off kid, but if you stumble upon that e-mail, it will add a “virus” to your save file, which is stored in cloud servers hosted by ToT Inc, and you will have to fight it off in a very, “Shadow of the Colossus” style, where the virus will try to destroy your system, but you will have to find a weak point on the behemoth and destroy it. Both games seem to looks very fun, based off of what play-testers say. It comes out today.

Sales of the UMagine have dropped a little bit again, as the Fairplay Advanced has received great amounts of buyers, selling 1 million units within the first week. This launch is even bigger than the Fairplay Portable system! Fans have said that the sequel to Morpheus, Controller, is the best game they have ever played. Big-shots in the review industry for video games have given it reviews similar to that of DreamCast, but Game Central has given it a 13/10. Woah. You thought the 7th gen was the golden age of games, no way! This gen is the real deal! SO MANY GOOD GAMES! Meanwhile, it seems that Bamboo Cane Inc has gone silent since the near-failure of their latest game, Fairplay All-Stars. Many fear the worst for Bamboo Cane Inc.

The new “company” Breath Coding has came into the gaming market. Only Takeki, the only employee and owner of the company has started on a simulation game on the PC called Restaurant Tycoon. Although Takeki has not released any more information, people are making predictions that your are an owner of a restaurant making new food, hiring and all that good stuff that you have to do to make a profit. It seems hype is building up and might even make a good amount of profit.

Ubisoft has slowly watched Bamboo Cane Inc. and it’s games, and have decided to either buy it, or fund 300M of its massive 1200M to BCI. The choice is up to the 19-year-old Lai-Do Ying Zing.

To compete against the HUGE Fairplay Advanced system, Ubisoft has decided to create a new console. This is planned to be called UNleash. They will implant the most advanced technology so far. Rumour has it this is Ubisoft’s last console.

In response to the offer to Lai-Do Yingzing, Samuel Kessler is outraged that Cazran has done this, and has officially denounced his opposition by saying that he was preying on a young new business man, and that this was a dishonorable act of mischief from Cazran, saying that the young man was not only recovering from the failure of his last game, but also the fact that he could not make a successful game like his grandfather whom he looked up to so much. Samuel, to our surprise, says he will offer all future profits of the Fairplay Advance to Cazran’s company as long as they cancel the UNleash and call off the investment in BCI. This is a very odd response to this act of Cazran, as this means he is seemingly offering a part of a hardware department in a stock-share style, (not actually a stock, just all the future profits from the current product,) as long as Cazran’s company shuts down their hardware department and calls off an investment in the partner company of its own. This could seriously affect the profits and stocks of ToT Inc in the future. This is a very silly decision on Sam’s part, but we will see what happens from here.

(OutOfCharacter/Newscaster: This is really fun. Thank you for this thread dude!)
