Future Help: Trailer Video

So I will be posting videos up soon (within the next couple of months) and I have a neat idea for a trailer video that will briefly show what content will be on my channel…

What I want to do is rather basic, which is, simulating an old DOS-like OS and running a command to start a program.

If anyone knows how to do this and can teach me or give me some tips n such, I’d greatly appreciate it…
Or if you want to help me out with making the video, I’ll give you credit in the description…

There are all DOS Commands on web, saw some of them.

Uh what?

Run a command in cmd and capture it with a screen recorder?
Edit: Also, which video editor are you going to use?

I don’t want to run a existing command, I just want to simulate a command: RAIN.exe and have a bunch of files opening up… Like when you do a boot on Windows in Safe Mode and it shows you all the system files loading up.

I’ll be using Sony Movie Maker '09 edition.

Lol, sorry my mind just turn off and…
Yeah

Oh. You could create/have someone create a custom .bat or .exe that does that, and use a screen recorder to record it. What is supposed to happen after the files are loaded?

It will be cut in and out but then I’ll have a simple cut to some gameplay and pictures with words: Reviews, Rants, Let’s Play’s and more."

Then cuts back to the never-ending file loading and once the files stop, at the end of the line, says “transmission complete” and the prompt disappears and then it’s back to the normal desktop.
