They should all be gone now. Please let us know if you see any new ones. Ta
OH MY GOD IT’S ENGLISH FORUM !
Dont use caps lock, Lil
I would add a “seal” to the form to make sure they know it’s the real uploader. The other mods, that would be obvious clones, would have different seals, so you could tell who made the fakes and who made the real. The seal would show in a flash animation, so they couldn’t copy and paste it.
Couldn’t they just download the flash animation and put it into their own description? And that has the same problem as making them sign their mods:it’s easily circumvented and it just adds more work to the mod developers.
Never fear Charlies here, just let me know any you see, I check regularly too and they will be disappeared!

we will only ban stolen mods. While I think the user will have limited success with these mods there is nothing stopping him publishing these.
Instead of adding a ‘genuine modder’ key or whatever in an effort to stop bad mods, a better idea would be a promote an official mod spotlight collection, where GHG staff could spotlight a mod a week and the community would be able to clearly see which mods are the genuine ones, and which are the copies.
Yeah what happened to the mod spotlights?
Then I will create mods every weekend just to get onto that awesome spotlight!
