When you say without mods, do you mean that you never used mods on the save or that you used mods before but now after disabling them you get this error?

I’m getting the following error after installing the new update on all three of my PC’s (1x Win 8.1, 1x Win 7 Pro & 1x OSX Maverick):

Error
Could not initialize loaded game: TypeError: Cannot read property ‘id’ of null
If the issue persists please report the error to support@greenheartgames.com.

Yesterday when I played on to Win 8.1 machine, I had the Expansion Pack Mod installed and are using Steam Sync for my saved game.

It seems that the saved game cannot be loaded because the mod has not yet been activated ingame (not possible as the game cannot even start up).

Does anyone have an idea what to do? (I prefer not to lose my Steam Synced save game.

Click on ESC, then on Mods and enable the Expansion Pack Mod by clicking on it.
