@apljee Only a joke till EA makes it a reality.
But being serious they give away the game some series back to advertise the 4th one that if it is anything like the others they think they could get $300 to $400 off of the game and the expansions from anyone nuts enough to buy them all.
They arenāt losing anything because people getting the second one are Iām guessing mostly new to the game since the others are already playing the 3rd while they wait for the 4th.
@vgs I had played the 3rd but never the 2nd, and because my old pc couldnāt run it (and broke before I could upgrade it. -._.-) and now I donāt have enough $$ to get the 3rd (Iām waiting to get paid. Might pre-order the 4th?) I had to āsettleā with getting the 2nd and all of the expansion packs.
So, I wasnāt new to the game, I just didnāt have the Sims 3.

sims 2 has 8 expansion packs + 10 stuff packs
sims 3 has 11 expansion packs + 9 stuff packs
7 + 8 + 10 + 11 + 9 = 45
45 : 5 different compilations = 9
9 - (sims 1 + 2 + 3) = 9 - 6 = 3

@apljee I can understand that but you may have decided to skip the second one totally if they didnāt do the promotion depending on if the 4th one is really good.
