Does the game end in 30 years?

Hey, so I just bought this game after seeing someone on Youtube play this. I have just started and it says “In the next 30 years you can build your dream company etc.” Does that mean the game will end in 30 years or will it keep going?

You can still continue researching, developing engines and so on. You just don’t get any more events, new consoles (except for the one you might develop) and so on.

Oh alright, thank you. So I’m starting up now and I was wondering should I go for G64 or the PC?

I’d recommend the PC because it’ll last longer (permanently, in fact) and doesn’t cost as much.

My game just ends though?

I get the invite to the special convention or whatever? Then it says game over?

You should be able to continue past the score screen. No new consoles will be made, but conventions will still exist, and you can still make your own consoles.

The game carries on pretty much as it did before. No new consoles are released, but you can keep researching, new tech becomes available until you’ve exhausted it all, and you can level up your guys, release loads of games and make stacks of cash.

After I continued after the 30 years suddenly pretty much every game I created sucked. Could not bring something with a rating better than about 3. Is that a bug or did I soemthing seriously wrong at that point?

You could also change the game lenght when you started game to 35 years if you wished…

My games have been doing well post-30 years. Try changing up your combinations and sliders.

I got rave reviews at all levels of graphics, so not necessarily, no.
