Why is there no option to delete your account? Can you please do so? Not just deactivating the account, erasing it from the database.

You cannot delete an account that has actively participated in the past, since all old conversations would be broken, if we just remove the content.
This is not something we made up but how the forum software functions. Instead of deleting it allows anonymizing the participant (which I have done now). The content stays but there is no link to your name and you are no longer associated with any of the content.
