I just want to say that I was one of the douche bags that downloaded a pirated version of your game, I did this in part because there are a lot of games that are not worth the money. After playing for a few hours of playing this awesome game I quickly went to your site and made my purchase. I also enjoyed you article on how you countered piracy in your game. Tahnks again for such an original and addictive game, and sorry for being a douche bag and pirating your game.
You are forgiven
I just wanted to say I am the type of person who routinely pirates games. I didn’t with yours however because I saw it in an article on www.cracked.com that talked about the 6 most ingenious methods used to thwart pirates, you guys were #1 and I laughed at people who pirated it and their disappointment, yet (with some) obliviousness to the message. I decided to play the demo, figuring that would be enough, I haven’t paid for a game in years. I loved it though, and once I went on your website and saw that you were a small company and that this was your debut game I bought it. I do not regret the decision as so far the game has given me hours of enjoyment, and promises many more hours yet to come. I hope you guys are very successful, you deserve it; you made someone who hasn’t bought a PC game in 5 years be happy to purchase yours. I can’t wait to offer my continued support by purchasing more games you release, if they are anywhere near as clever I will be throwing my money at you. If you had made the game $20 I still would have purchased it; it’s unique, and addictive. I also love that you listen to your fans! Seriously, I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
If you haven’t bought a pc game in 5 years, you are basically the cause of the way how game developers are ruining all the fun of playing the games with always online features, payed DLC, and so on.
And now you bought a game that only cost you 8 bucks…
