Could I get some help with a mod I want to try and make?

I’m interested in trying to make a mod, but all my modding experience is in C++, so all this HTML5 and Java is alien to me(From looking at the example API and the webnode toolkit).

Basically, I want to make it to where MMO’s don’t have such high upkeep costs, as they’re essentially impossible to keep profitable unless you push out expansions for them constantly.

However, after using UME to look at the code for Lab Research, I don’t understand how to, upon the player completing the research, to modify how a particular genre(MMO, in this case?) operates.

Read the source code. Beautify codeNw.js in the “compressed” folder.

This is not Java. This has absolutely nothing to with Java. Its JavaScript.

I suggest going to CodeAcademy to learn the basics

What happen with everybody? Codeacademy pay you for advertising? XDD

On topic:If you want to know how the sales are calculated you must look inside the game code “codeNW” and search the function.

You see, I told FireChaos to use Codeacademy to learn a bit of JavaScript, and he started suggesting it to everybody. It was my idea peeps :stuck_out_tongue:

Codecademy… That is where I started HTML and CSS. Then I got a JavaScript book after I got a C# book. Whatever you do though, this is a no-brainer, but do not share the source code with anyone, ever. You could probably be fined by GHG.
