I used to play on illegal version of game. Today I bought full version and I would like to copy save file frm DRM-Free version to steamversion. Im using OS X. ANy suggestions?

Don’t think it’s possible.
you could use my cheatmod to add some money and fans to your new savegame to help you get where you were quicker.
There have many updates to the legal version including a large content update. I would suggest starting a new game so that you can experience a more balanced and full gameplay.
Actually I used to play a lot on new 1.4.0+ version so I have save file with almost all genres/age/platform matching. So, there is now way to copy it? ;/
We don’t support it but here are the save locations for you to try, Though you will need to turn steam cloud off for Game Dev Tycoon.
How to Disable Steam Cloud
You will need to disable Steam Cloud to stop your saves re downloading;
- In your Steam Library, right-click on Game Dev Tycoon and select “Properties.”
- Click the “Updates” tab.
- Uncheck “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Game Dev Tycoon.”
- Click “Close.”
Save Game Locations for both Steam Supported OS
On Windows 8 and Under:
C:/Users/YOURUSER/Appdata/Local/Game Dev Tycoon - Steam/Local Storage/
where YOURUSER is your Windows user name.
To View the App Data folder please allow viewing of Hidden Files and Folder;

On Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/{app}/Local Storage
For The Steam edition if you navigate to;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Your ID\239820\remote
(Your path may be slightly different if you did not install in the default location)
