Computer Building

I want to build my own computer soon but i know nothing about building one i only know this: RAM, CPU

I need more things but i don’t know what Please help.

It depends how much money you are willing to spend on creating a computer.

At the end it can be VERY expensive to build a high performance computer

I don’t know like 2k? 1k?

Maybe 4 or 5k.

If you only know what CPU and RAM are, you shouldn’t be building your own PC yet

atleast get help from someone who knows

Maybe go down to your local PC store and ask for help

Well… I mean i know some other things but its really confusing of how all of it works like what if i do something wrong in the process?

Most stuff can only plug in 1 way, i would go for a pre made PC first

As Kizza said you could buy a premade computer and then replace the components

Ok but will it be expensive and will it be easier to set things up?

With a prebuilt PC, yes, it’s just like buying a new PC, just plug it into the power and plug it in to your monitor. Then setup windows and your good to go

Well, no and yes. Replacing parts will take more time since you have to do it carefully and everything, but it will take less time to do it because you already know where what belongs.

The price will very. If you just want a gaming computer that’ll max out every game, then you can spend 600-700 dollars, and it’ll do it easily. If you just want med graphics, then a 400-500 build would do fine.

Don’t need to spend over a grand on a computer for gaming.

But it all depends on what you’re doing, video editing, gaming, developing, etc.

Now for the custom built part, it’s much better to build it. It doesn’t take long, and you can’t mess up the parts easily. Most of the parts will only fit in one spot, only one way.

Windows installing is easy, and fast. (And cheap if you just buy the key, and not the cd and such)

I can make you a build, if you’d like. It’s really easy to build, and it’s fun.

I’m glad. I’ve been into computer building/repair for a while… lol

They have some articles on the gamespot site about building a pc they didn’t go into details about everything but they explained the parts some if that helps.

Just remember the power supply and tower case can be re-used if you upgrade fully again so try to get good ones.I went with the Cooler Master HAF full tower case myself very good case but huge there are lotsa fans that come with it too provided they haven’t changed it since I got mine.
