Can't get a single mod to work

Hello!

So i’ve been playing game dev tycoon for quite some time now and i decided to download some mods but i can’t get 90% of mods to work. (i have watched a lot of youtube tutorials). So i drag rar file into GDT mods folder but when i launch game it says that the mod is enabled (topic mod) but when i go into the game (i have ultimatelib) it just isn’t there. there is same number of topics it was before.
Any tips?

I think that it would be necessary to unwind the file RaR :wink:

yeah, you gotta extract the .rar, also ultimatelib is broken.

So since the ultimatelib is broken that means i can’t get mods that need ultimatelib to work?

Sometimes you can, but even if they work there is a high chance of the game crashing at any moment and your save might get corrupted. It’s just buggy as hell.

so it would be best to wait for http://gdt-ultimatesuite.abesco.de/ to start working again?

I doubt that UL will be supported again, it’s abandoned atm.
