I bought the game from the Windows 8 Store and i am unable to open the options menu to turn off the sounds when i hit ESC.
Is there any way around this? I tried to download the game from the store but because i bought it through the Windows 8 store, i can’t get another copy from this site’s store without paying again.
It can be temperamental and a few times i have to press “escape” before i can get the menu up.
I’ve mashed it for a couple minutes without anything happening.
The Windows 8 Modern UI edition (ie the version from the Windows 8 Store), uses the integrated Windows 8 features to supply the options menu. You need to move your mouse to one of the right-hand screen corners and select ‘Settings’ from the Charms Bar. This should give you a number of menu options, of which ‘Settings’ should give you sound options.
