This game is awesome. However I feel it is significantly shorter than I would like. Is their a way to increase the amount of years you can play before the end or can I slow down the time so that years are not every 5 mins.

You can continue to play the game past 30 years. You just won’t see any releases of new consoles or major events. Expos will continue indefinitely AFAIK.
You can slow down the game by a little bit. there is an option to have 25, 30 or 35 years. each option collaborates on how fast time passes. 25 years being the fastest and 35 years being the slowest. It’s not much but it’s still noticeable in terms of date and console releases. (25 years is 40% faster than 35 years option). Personally I prefer the slowest aka 35 year version as the other options release too many consoles in too little time. It’s a matter of choice.
Where is that done? I have not seen this option.
