[Can be locked]I pirated the game, then bought it

Hi guys !
Before I’m getting started, I would like to say three things :

  1. This is NOT a troll post.
  2. English isn’t my language, so my text won’t be mistake-less (i’m not even sure this is a real word)
  3. If you’re not interested in what I have to say and post here just to flood, well admins can shut down this thread.

I first heard of Game Dev Tycoon 1month ago on a forum, where a member reposts the famous story behind the version that Greenhearts releases on the torrent sites. Back then I thought it was a clever ad abd that’s it.

A few days ago, I was bored so I searched a new games I could play on a pirate site. Then I came across Game Dev Tycoon (the true version, not the “your games are pirated” one), I downloaded it and then play it for a good 6hours straight.
Then I realised : “Wait a minute, how much does that game really costs ?”

I went to your website and saw it was only 7€. I didn’t believe it. I bought it on the spot (I admit your graph showing the repartition between true copies and pirated ones influenced me).

The point is I would never have thought of downloading the game if I knew it was only 7€.

But now I’m having a blast with it and in a clean way. So I take off my hat to you, sirs and ladies of GreenHeart.

And btw, now that I have both copies, how do I transfer my save ?

If you install it to the same path your saves will remain in the same place i believe.
The location of the saves depends on your operating system. let me know which OS you are using i will let you know.

I use Windows 7 x64
The OS is on a SSD and the game is on a seperate HDD.

Hello Developers I just want to say your game is one of my favorites I tryied to pirate, not beacause I didnt wnat to pay for it it is beacause I dont have aa credit card but i asked my dad and I bought the game, Im glad I did.Im 15 years old dont troll me with youre 7 years old coments.

@Juan, don’t worry, I’m 15 aswell, and mum said as long as I transfer money to her account, I can always buy games :slight_smile:
