I recently downloaded some extra mods and started a new game, but now all of the text is extremely slow to load. It takes a good 30 seconds for 3 sentences to be typed, and it is getting so bad that I can’t even play anymore.
The mods I have installed are - Camelot Expansion, CheatMod, Expansion Pack, InfoStatsMod, TweakMod, and UltimateLib.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would probably because of tweakmod, it allows you to change the speed of text, so the text is probably being slowed because of tweakmod

That’s because the TweakMod (at least in older versions) was setting a different text speed which was by default much slower than the unmodded game. Is this still the case @SirEverard?

How would I go about changing the speed? It’s unplayable at this slow of a speed.
Go to the menu and then settings. You’ll find it there. 
That’s true! The following screen shows the “default” settings of TweakMod:
The “typewriter” delay is set to 100, which is slower than the default value of the game itself.
It should be ±20 instead (need to double-check for correct value) for the GDT default behaviour.

Just change the “typewriter delay” setting value to 20 or less for a better experience (0 = no typewriter effect).
I think the default in the game is 20 but it can vary based on what message is shown.
That’s correct. I updated the value indicated in my previous post and will provide the 20 def. value in the next update.
That’s odd, I’ve been fiddling with that setting and haven’t seen a difference. I’ll try again though.
