[bug] Error keeps popping up when I launch the game with competitor mod!

3 Errors pop up when I try to play with the competitor mod enabled, and some others

**1. **Error Could not load mod one of the scripts C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/CompetitorSales.js,C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/CompetitorPublisher.js,C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/source.js is missing or invalid!

**2. **Error Could not load mod one of the scripts C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/CompetitorSales.js,C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/CompetitorPublisher.js,C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Dev Tycoon/mods/CompetitorMod/source/source.js is missing or invalid!

The mods I have are Competitor Mod, Cheat Mod, mod API and Ultimate Lib

in side the competitormod-master folder is another folder. That should be the folder you put in the mod folder

I tried deleting competitor mod, and it still happened!!!

Start GDT and disable all the mods, restart, enable API and Lib.
Close GDT, re-open and choose all the mods you want…

If it’s still happening after that, dis-able all mods again and enable them 1 by 1. Or have all but 1 mod enabled and keep rotating until you go through all of them or the error stops.

I fixed this error by deleting all the mods in my folder (not GDT mod API) and one by one putting them back in. Once you get to the new competitor mod, do as others have suggested and re-name it to simply CompetitorMod.
Example:

Note I’m not telling you to simply re-name the old competitor mod you had. I’m saying I deleted ALL my mods and re-downloaded them and then put them in one by one. (Extracting it, placing it in the mods folder, and then enabling it in the game itself)
There is probably a better method, but this worked for me.

No need to delete all mods, follow the following steps!

Step 1 :rename the folder to competitormod
Step 2: reboot ignore the errors
Step 3: Open de mods screen in Game dev tycoon
Step 4: disable all mods
Step 5: reboot game dev tycoon
Step 6: enable all mods again!
