[BUG] Audio and mods don't work

Hello, lately I have been receiving the same stupid pop up box that apparently claims I have a bug, at first I didn’t see anything other than a couple of mods not working on steam workshop, but now audio nor music is working. So here is the message , and let me know if this is something common or what, thanks

Not sure about the audio issue

But… what mods do you use?
and do you have UltimateLib installed?

I’m guessing that it needs UltimateLib

The RPT Expansion Pack
DLC Mod
Expansion Pack Mod

All of these mods are enable, is there some way I can just delete all the data and restart?

And sorry for not responding in for ever, I pretty got distracted by life and other stuff ._.

I probably should have mention it is on steam, and I have hundreds of times, I even went into the steamapp folder and delete the entire folder, but when I uninstall it and reinstall it doesn’t change

From your error, it seems like Expansion Pack uses UltimateLib which is not defined. I would suggest reinstalling Game Dev Tycoon and then download mods through the workshop with no manual installations.

Honestly, I think some of your mods are incompatible with each other. Try deleting one and one mod to see which one is causing the issue, and then play again.

I unsubscribed everything and reinstall twice, and yet I still can’t hear that gorgeous music or sound that I came to fall in love with…

Provide some info. When did it stop working? What did you do just prior to that?

maybe 3 months ago, at first I just ignored it, so I can’t say exact, but I was install those mods and I think thats it

and you are 100% sure that the volume for the game are not muted?
also in-game

I would advise installing the mods one at a time, running the game each time and check which one causes lack of audio. Also you will need to start a new game.

yes I checked , the volume is up music and audio is on and I try re-installing mods one at a time, and even disable all of them, and started a new save, and nothing

Are you using a headset? Can you let us know the make and model please? I have seen similar reports on Steam across all games caused by some specific headset which I can’t recall at the moment.

Oh and please confirm that this issue occurs with no mods at all enabled and on a new game?
