Bribing Magazines

I think we all know that sometimes companies (especially big publishers) pay magazines and websites to give their games good reviews, ending in overrated reviews sometimes. Anyway, I think this could be implemented into the game. It should be really expensive though, as it would be an easy cheat if we kept using it, but since it’s a truth in the industry, I think it would make sense.

I’m pretty sure Maxis did this with SimCity Online because when it came out there were hundreds of bugs/errors and I doubt they of the raitings would be as good if they plaid the releace of the game.

well i did manage to hire lucy bradshaw, and i got a game with 4 avg score and sold 6 million copies, so maybe she still works her black magic

4? Nah, it’s still good for SimCity.

How many fans have you lost, if any? That is “very realistic” I think :stuck_out_tongue:

This made me laugh. I think it should be an option for well-known companies but give it a chance to backfire.

anytime my average raiting is less than 4 I loose hundreds of fans.
I wish I could pull the game from the market if I know it’s going to be that bad.
