Bought Game close to when it first came out, now I want the steam key

Here’s the thing I want to say first, my mom bought this game for me and she got rid of the yahoo email she had bought the game with. I want to know if there is some way I can get a steam key now, but I nor does she know what payment method she used. I really want to get this on steam since I use steam to start up…everything that involves gaming on this computer.

Do you have any proof whatsoever that you owned it?
